One of the first programs students frequently learn to write is a simple input-output routine that displays "Hello World" on the screen. That is all it does, and then the program terminates. But it is enough. It announces the birth of new programmer, who is equipped with all the skills and panache of an infant. This is not my first blog. It represents fifty percent of all the blogs that I have started but have not yet deleted. This blog is full of potential, which is a nice way of saying that the easy part has been completed, and the hard part awaits. Hello world.
